This is the most updated version of the mechanics (before we rebuilt as the project was extremely messy due to testing and retesting) this includes the quest and puzzles up to the battle scene (which currently activates with a trigger which you run into)
In this it's clear how the battle system works. Josh currently has it running on a 2v2 system, each character takes damage based on it's stats which correlate to a "what level are you" system. he's included a "critical strike chance" which means theres a chance that the damage will be doubled randomly. There are healing abilities and items which come with a special ability cost - much like a mana bar in some games. Still to come is a death scene and a "destroy object on death" instead they sit there and you can still attack them after their death for now, but the health bar disappears to indicate death.
