This is the testbed today. Been working on the root texture and following my own guide as to how to texture them from scratch to make sure it's easily followable (still one bit of root to go) today.
Shown here with DX 11 lighting in maya (these are the lights we want to emulate in scene so is more like a "what it will look like in game" and maya viewport 2.0 default lighting to give a better idea of the diffuse without the shadows in the way.
